Travel day to Switzerland – no official programme events

Location:   Chur, Switzerland

Our 2024 General Assembly location may well be the most picturesque setting we have ever chosen. This year’s venue is Switzerland’s oldest city, boasts a 5000-year history and is embedded in beautiful surroundings but also easily accessible.

Travelling to/from Chur: Recommended airport – Zurich (ZRH). Chur has excellent high-speed train connections from Zurich/Airport (leaving every 20 minutes). Other nearby airports include Altenrhein (ACH) (71.1 km), Milan Bergamo (BGY) (133 km), Milan Malpensa (MXP) (150.4 km) and Milan Linate (LIN) (156.2 km).

Our 2024 General Assembly officially commences at 9:15 a.m. on October 2^nd (Day 1) and
will end at 5:00 p.m. on October 3^rd (Day 2).

Day 1:

• Morning - formal agenda
• Afternoon – technical visit
• Evening – formal dinner

Day 2:

• Morning & afternoon - technical visits and other programme highlights
• No official evening programme

Travel day from Switzerland - returning home or enjoying a Swiss weekend as preferred.
